HERE'S what looks like a BMW promotional video for the new G310R, presented by some bloke called Chris Northover.

It's appeared on the mysterious YouTube channel MotorcycleDreams, which has a history of obtaining manufacturers' promotional videos before their offical release.

Built in partnership with Indian manufacturer TVS, the G310R is BMW's first crack at the sub-500cc market.

Although we'd seen spy shots of the G310R when it was spotted during testing, the production version wasn't officially revealed until the start of November, along with its specification. Its 313cc single-cylinder engine is housed in a tubular steel frame and makes a claimed 34hp, which BMW says is enough for 90mph.

There's no word on price yet.
