so much easier to just drop in a big bore kit and get similar power...for a lot less headache.

Yea you do that. I rather not tear down my engine, machine it, etc. When dropping the engine and putting another one in takes only a few hours

Installing a ready made big bore kit is pretty like a top end rebuild...not that hard.
