Price is actually $130. I think some have used this system but I would think it would come with more features for that price. Could be just me though.

Yea I currently have it installed. Installation was super easy and it works for the most part. It has a battery sensor, tilt sensor, and a shock sensor. I've had trouble setting up the alarm's customizable features but if all you are looking for is "press lock to arm, press unlock to unarm" it seems to work well. It's also super loud too.

I only arm it when I'm parking in a slightly more shady area. Usually if I am in a very busy parking lot or at a friend's house, usually in garage or behind a gate, I leave it unarmed.

I also have the pager that comes with it. You really need to want to use the alarm for the pager to come in handy. I still cant really figure out how to set different alarm sounds or disable the shock sensor only. There are instructions but for some reason I cant get it to work. Maybe someone else can shed some light on it.

For what it's worth, it has served my purpose and the people at Gorilla alarms are very nice. I accidentally broke my pager a few days after I got it and they sent me a new one right away.

Let me know if you have any more questions about this thing. At $100, it's not bad. Not quite as good as a forcefield but it helps.

Oops, didn't realize that. I don't normally look in the FS section unless I'm actually looking for something, and I didn't realize I wanted this (or any) alarm until I saw the deal on Amazon. Got one on the way. If I hadn't seen it on Amazon I'd never have known about it. I'm hoping Alex will leave it here until it expires in a couple of hours, anyway, may be others like me out there.

Expired, Now the thread can be shuffled off to oblivion...
