radiator hose burst :( leaking coolant
this just happened maybe like 10-20 minutes ago, coming home from a ride on the freeway and while i'm pulin in to my parking lot space i see some drops of liquid then look closer and notice its coolant here is the culprit does anyone know what the part number is for it?
its the hose on the left connected to the water pump, this is looking from above and here is another picture i found, the part that was leaking is to the left of the circled bolt |

It's a drain bolt. Tightening it should resolve your problem. Torque the Drain Bolt to 9.8 N·m (1.0 kgf·m or 87 in·lb)
Make sure you check your coolant level. Also cleaning the area around the source of the leak makes it easier to identify. |

i actually saw the fluid coming out of the hose and its loose now it looked like a crack and then the coolant was squirting out in a fine line
im going to look at the bolts tomorrow and remove the fairing so i can get a better look at everything |

if you are sure it's the hose that's damaged, then yes, the part number you listed is correct from that picture.

My coolant was leaking from where the same hose goes into the radiator but it seems to have stopped (been months). I'll be watching it more closely as temps go up. If I have to, I'll try replacing the clamp before the hose.

A bad o-ring will definitely make it loose and leak. All coolant hoses and clamps should be check every 6k miles. It is rare that a metal pipe would crack or split not unless it was damaged in some way. It would take more than 18 psi (system pressure)to split the pipe.

the hose that split and is leaking is rubber tho, it connects into a metal bracket on the water pump but that isn't the part thats leaking, at least i don't think so

If its a rubber hose thats leaking then take it off and go to a local autoparts store and get the same size diameter. You will pay a premium by going with OEM Kawi parts.
