WOODCRAFT CLIP ONS...

before

after

i set em up as high as i could and there at the same angle as factory, here are clearance pics.. the wc mount hits full lock left and brake line is hairs away from rubbing gauges, nothing hits full lock right.

need to get my bar ends on, SSR preload adjusters (after 1 more jumps in on the group buy) and i might get adjustable levers... otherwise i need to save so i can get a zx6r damn it. this bike will still be around, my gf's, PINK

i've only rode probably 10-15 miles since, but it is a world of difference. alot more space = alot more comfortable, today it seemed like i can lean alot harder easier. i was scared in one turn of low siding, but i love 'em. i need to get used to it more but so far worth it, hopefully my gf likes em if not this is the only mod i wasted money on for when it becomes hers and i get a zx6r.

awesome i've had it w/ the suction cup for my ranger and gf's turbalt for a while, i have yet to have my phone fall out the actual cradle, one day the suction cup came off my window. but it works great on the bike too. i did however put the lil mount and ball on the plastic so it vibrates a little but honest to god it isn't as bad as you'd think. i took a video w/ my phone in gf's car driving around, then on the bike, and in her car it was more jittery

been a while since i've updated so here goes...

so last update i had just installed wc clip ons, i love them btw but more mods started the next day.... here we go.

3-29-12 - took some button heads from work painted em flat black, and did the fuel hose trick to put stock bar ends on

4-4-12 - ssr preload adjusters

4-15-12 - a&l motorsports rearset brackets, LOVE EM

4-25-12 - the2wheels adjustable levers

5-2-12 pics at a park

5-11-12 - installed cig lighter thingy, for cell charger

5-22-12 - random... that is my gf's 2009 cobalt ss/tc

6-9-12 - innovate mtx-l wideband afr meter, fine tuned my carb, runs awesome now!!

theres not really anything else i am looking to do to the 250r atm. i am laid off right now for one, and two... i traded the ranger i had, that you see in the pics, for a 95 mustang that was a v6. the guy swapped a 1986 302 motor, carb'd, w a 4cyl mustang t5 trans, blah blah... POS!! it was junk, it has no motor or trans in it right now, so that is my next project... i traded the ranger for it so i could sell it, but that didn't work... cause i really want a zx6r.. someday!!

Hey, was it hard to install the 150/70/17? I am wondering because I am ready to change my stock rear tire into a bigger tire. Did you have to do any mods in order to place the tire?

Thank you

It was harder to put the stock size front tire on then the bigger rear

And max thanks the cf on triple looked better w stock bars cause it fit around where the bars mounted but I still like it.

I just got called back to work on Monday after being laid off 2.5 months. Woot!!

talon, WRONG WHEEL DRIVE (front), it's my gf's brothers. he got it for probably $500 w/ a blown motor, put $1500 into it. that includes a brand new motor he had a lot of machine work done to it and put it all together and now he wants to sell it, how it sits, with the motor not even in it, no trans, etc for $1600.. he's not to smart.
