Smile LED Question (Blue or White + Installation)

I really love lights, don't ask my why. I have lights spread out all through my room and have different lighted pieces like accent lights everywhere. This obviously makes me want some LEDs on my Ninja.

Mine is blue and and my first question is, will Blue or White LEDs look better?

I'm leaning toward blue after seeing how good they look on this blue Ninja:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCoG3wS0E8U

Then for the installation.
  1. How hard would it be to attempt for a complete beginner?
  2. How much (estimate) would it cost to have them put in?
  3. Special brand?
  4. How many do I need to give this a good lighting? Just for show. I don't want to just have underglow on the bottom like Neon on cars. I want up under the front and back and for it to make people say "wow". My friend has some red LEDs and you can barely see them.

Check your state laws first. That would get you a free trip in the back of a cop car down here.

Hmmm, may I suggest a stretched Hyabusa with a 330 tire, custom paint, a wife beater, flip flops and lots of chrome?

Honestly that was a bit out of line. Their are several respected members on this forum who have LEDs on their bikes, including myself. Have you thought that maybe have more lights would make you more... oh I dunno, visible?

Don't automatically jump on someone because they want to modify their bike different then you. It's their bike, and their money.

Wow, smart-ass. I want something that looks nice and is fun. That's why I got the bike. I didn't want it for speed / to go 160 mph. I didn't just get this bike so I can say "oh, look what I got, how shiny". But sure, I want my bike to look good and be fun to drive around. I'm 16, that isn't too much to ask. It is just a modification to make the bike look nice, I don't see a problem with it.

Please keep comments that do not help my thread to yourself, thanks.

looks way better in person.
i got this kit from ledglow.com it was like 60 bucks and came with a remote. it has 4 different solid brightness levels, like 3 different strobe patterns, and a fade pattern all controlled from the remote. its really a nice set. And i do believe thay have a blue set.
Took me about an hour to install them (most of this time was me sitting around trying to figure out where i was going to put them)
since this picture, ive moved the two that i placed inside the side farings so more light shines through.
I tried really hard to keep as much light as possible off of the ground because i found out the hard way that underglow here in louisiana will land you a $200 fine and 18 hours of community service... =(

I believe I'm going to go with this kit:
http://www.motorcycleledlights.com/B...ghts-12pc.aspx

Comes with 12 pieces. That's 222 LED lights! My little Ninja should glow.
It only costs $10 more than the 10 piece and I'll be sure to have enough lights.

I'll map out where I'll put the lights tomorrow to make sure I'll be satisfied and I'll install them myself. Seems pretty simple by watching:

Ha, sorry. I want some LED's too. Not for under glow but custom turn signals. Make your bike light up like a Christmas tree if you want.

BLUE BLUE BLUE!!! The only thing white has going for it is that its bright. But you can always make up the difference with more lights

White is just such a boring color IMO. Always best to match the color of the bike!

EDIT: Just a little side note, I got completely overcome with jealousy and decided to order a 6 piece expansion kit to add the the six piece set i already have on the bike haha

I'll probably go with blue. White does seem somewhat plain.
Haha, nice man! Pictures.
