sweet pricing.
btw matt, are you interested in becoming distrib for Shinto? I think paul is looking for a US distrib. Not sure if there is a conflict of interest b/t sportisi and shinto though...

I'm definitely looking for more acceleration (power through all gears) or throttle response, not really looking for top end. Will this improve acceleration, how does this works? How much power are we looking with this BRT ignition?

How much is the programmable, pm me?

I won't be racing, I been reading some reviews about your product and it seems that improve throttle response. If this is true count me in for a non-programmable. I also read about the kick stand kill switch, do I loose it? I'm mainly interested to get a better acceleration or throttle response.

yes better acceleration is a nice perk. The kill switch will no longer operate as it is bypassed.

Hi,

I have some questions about this product - I am a noob to bike mods so please forgive my ignorance.

Is this similar to a "chip" or ECU mod for a car? (I had a GIAC ECU mod to adjust turbo boost psi for an '01 Audi S4)

For the non-programmable - what is the difference between the two maps?

If I have the CDI issue - (I'm not entirely sure I do) would installation of the product address it?

If I were to install the original CDI - would the sidestand kill switch work? - In case I decide to sell the bike.

Thanks!
Ash

Yes the kick stand woul work if you were to use the stock cdi again. I haven't had any complaints of the rpms being screwed up with the units. The two maps are designed to have an aggressive map and a a slightly less aggressive map. Premium fuel is recommended.

Just courious. What is the timing curve look like compaired to the 94 and older dci box? And is there a way to adapt it to a pregen? What is the max timing?

There is a way to adapt it but when you compare the maps while the brt tis has a slightly better map then the pregens its not worth the hassle or the extra cash.

So, we can get the same performance from the pregen CDI as the non-programmable?

I think the BRT is more optimal since it's tuned with the 08 engine whereas the older cdi is for the older engine. BRT non prog has two maps for you to select.
