MV AGUSTA hinted at a new-for-2015 machine a little while ago with a close-up of a spoked rear wheel, and allied to the fact the firm has trademarked the name ‘Turismo Leggero’ we jumped to the conclusion that the bike it would be attached to would be a lighter version of the Turismo Veloce.

We were wrong, it seems, as the firm’s new teaser video shows what appears to be a new ‘RR’ version of the Dragster with the very same wire-spoked wheel.

The vid also shows some tasty Marzocchi forks, lots of red anodised aluminium and enough of the bike’s badge to be certain that it’s name ends with “…ter RR.”

Oh, and it shows lots of dragsters, of the four-wheeled variety. As teasers go, this one doesn’t leave us guessing too much about the bike’s identity.

So what’s become of the Turismo Leggero? Well, MV does say it’s got multiple new bikes for 2015, so there’s still a chance that machine will make an appearance at EICMA in Milan in the first week of November, too.
