From what I can tell, those are special aftermarket pegs that have rough areas all around them, almost like the spiky end of velcro that hooks into anything that has a space.

I heard a rummor (meaning I don't know if it is true or not) that coated wheels have a tendency to chip. Do you know if that's a fact?

The coating can Chip if Its to Thick or Under Cured..

If Coated right Powder coated wheels will Hold 100+ Times Better & Longer
then Liquid painted wheels.. Ive Done Hundreds of Sets of wheels with No problems..

I have Done about 25 sets for a couple Stunt Bike Teams and They hold up Great , and Those Guys are "Hell" on wheels..Literally...LOL

why do you have to be so far away Tim?
I need to power coat my stang wheels.
I purchased them on ebay and after a yr they are starting to peel.
could you give me an estamate of what shops usually charge for 4 wheels.
the front wheels are 17x9 and the rear are 17x10.5.
thanks,
tin
p.s. forgot to mention they are deep dish.

I used SOUPY'S Front & Rear Full lowering Kit..

Its about 1'' in front and about 2'' in Rear..

Little Rougher Ride but not bad.. I will have to raise the rear back up 1/2'' or so so Rear tire Doesnt hit inner fender on Big bumps ...
