TechSpecs in Production

Just thought I would share this bit of news: I contacted TechSpec USA and asked them if they had plans for the Ninja 300, as I have noticed that I could use more grip on the tank than I've currently got. Here is the response I got.

Good Morning, Travis!
For your brand new bike, we are in the works of getting that specific design together. It should be available by the end of the year. Please check back with us in December. Thank you for your interest and support in our product.

So if anyone else is interested, we should have gripsters available in a few months!

I like their products but were frustrated with their design or rather location for the Ninja 250r. I told them they have it placed in the wrong area but their response to me was, "Um...we haven't heard any complaints from others." Well duh! Why do you think they're (racers) not using them?

Anyhow what I did was buy a uncut version and just cut out a piece which worked out best.

I hope they place it in the right area for the Ninja 300

Behold! Looks like the right place for 300 to me.
I want a set, but it's hard to spend $55 on rubber that doesn't contact the ground. I'll wait until the wife isn't looking.

That rubber is to keep YOU from touching the ground.

I've since changed my mind about the techspecs....THEY SUCK!

They wear down so fast. There are alternatives available that are half the cost. You could even find some at your local hardware store like Rexbo did at 1/3 the cost.

Installed my techspec tank grips today:

Do they really wear out pretty fast?

I think the Stomp Grip has bigger nipples :-P Anyone used that? I've heard it wears down fast too, and I haven't seen it marketed specifically for the 300, but I'm sure its easy to cut and stick.
