Ok, so my bike just died on me.

It really shouldn't be the weather cause, well, i live in Hawaii.
I just finished school and was riding away. About two blocks later I was at third gear and i notice that i seem to be going slower than my normal speed. Decided to rev it a bit, but power dropped even further so i pull over.
As soon as i am in a complete stop (was still in third gear) my bike just dies.

I think it might be because i didn't let it warm up.. but the thing is, i only parked it there for hour and a half and the weather was hot too..
Any idea what it is? I hope i don't get engine damage it only has 9k miles on it too..

Have you tried CPR? Open up the gas tank and give mouth to mouth, that should fix it

Huh. There weren't gas tank whistle so it could've been it.

Oh and on a irrelevant cause, i bought a slingshot racing gas cap cause my stock one got frozen a few weeks ago and i don't want it to happen again.
But the thing is how do i know its water proof? I mean, if it starts raining...

Sounds like vapor lock. Turn bike upsidedown and shake it. Once it burps you should be good to go.
