what should i idle at
after reading mkulchar's thread, i questioned what exactly i should be idling at. i know it will be different as each rider might not have the same set up. the only mod's that i know for sure that are on my bike is a 2 brothers slip on. when i crank my bike i run it with the choke on. fully warm it usually idles at 4/5 k range with choke and 1.9/2k range w/o choke. Mkulchar's was idling significantly(or not?) lower. should my bike idle lower or is it cool to be in the range i am at?

when bike is fully warmed up it should idle (w/o choke) at 1200~1250 by owners manuall.
I have mine set on 1250... works like a charm ![]() remember... higher the idle is, lower the braking power of engine |

Knob by your left knee. Owners manual for your bike is a sticky at the top of this tech section, has some good info in it. Worth some time perusing, but it's a pretty quick read as well.
