Front tire resistance?

Change the fork oil today and upon reassembly of the tire I noticed thy when tightening the nut the tire encountered a lot of resistance the tighter it went, I have the speedo meshed correctly or so I think from everything I've seen. I get about 30ft lbs of torque and it wants to stop spinning. I know the manual calls for 60ft lbs. any suggestions?

Agree !

Don't force things; you are putting stress on the brake disc.

There's only one wheel spacer correct? On the right side then the speedo on te left. The caliper is not hooked up so brakes weren't affecting everything. The axle bolt slides right into place. Matched up the notch on the speedo assembly between the 2 on the fork. Really don't know what I'm missing at this point.

Are you sure that the speedo is in the right position respect to the fork (it has a false position) and the coupling 41064 is not binding?
