Tire Change Time
Hello, Quick question. A Steel belt / wire mesh is starting to appear on my tires. Do I change the tires before the season ends or right after it starts? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you change them now. I had the same **** happen to my tires and I've read you should change them.

Honestly of you are showing metal, a couple hundred miles ago is when you should have changed them.
Once the cord shows, there ain't much left before you get to air.

Later or now, do not ride anymore on that poor tire.

Letting a tire get to that point is dangerous. Even getting down to the wearbars is too far for adequate safety. |
