My White Ninja 250R SE Thread.
So, this is where I'll be posting pics of my bike and the mods that I make. A lot of the mods, and I mean a lot, come from ideas that most people on the forum already have. But it'll be a little mixed up and what not. x-) Fully stock as of now. Just brought her home today. 23 miles on her. Had 4ish on her when she came home.
These are a few that I took with my cell. Will get to updating this thread with pics from a real camera monday hopefully. Me on my bike. MTGATT (Unless you consider shift pants with kevlar in them official gear, then ATGATT) And same pic, cooler effect. Mods coming in this week: Two Bros Slip-On Exhaust. Shimmed needles GPS Alarm System. (Reason being, my insurance doesnt covor theft. I know, I know.) Future Mods? Fender eliminator Bike monkeys taillight D3 Red grips Red Pazzo Levers Flush mounts from modmy250.com and some more things I cant think of right now. x-) |

You finally got it! Congrats man you must be stoked! That gear looks good and yes I would consider those pants ATGATT. Think about getting just the ebay levers instead of pazzos? Should save tons of money and I hear they're about the same quality.

Well then let's meet up on a Sunday then. The meetup group isn't mine, I would personally never pay for something that can be accomplished through a thread on a forum or facebook. The SNS Thursday has been going on long before me, but I am up to ride to any sort of restaurant or what not.

So got a clear tank pad today and put it on. It looks nice. I'd like to see it in the sun. Any who, here are some more pictures from the first day, and also a couple of pics of the tank pad.
When I first took a picture of the milage. Unfortunately, I did it after I rode. It originally came with 4 miles on it. I put more on that day. x-) Current milage: Better looking picture then the OP ones: Better quality of me in gear, also shows fully. And the tank pad pics (Flash didnt go off, sorry): There's really no air bubbles. Only like 1 little one. Im sure it will go away one it sits in the sun for a bit and what not. Nothing too, too exciting yet. Still waiting for my slip on exhaust to come in. Should be atleast by next week at absolute latest. Also, I ordered some ZX-2R stickers from modmy250.com. |

Frame sliders will be ordered this friday. Im going to have to hold off on the tail light and blinkers though, which is fine. She's coming along well. I do smell something coming from the exhaust, to me it smelt like a burning smell, anyone know if this is normal? I posted it in a separate thread in tech forum.
As for the tank pad, its clear I saw it on a few other bikes and it looks good. And thanks for the congrats guys x-) |

Yeah, it works really well. I will say this though, tank pads are a lot smaller then I thought. It was so small, that I turned to the forums for comparison because I thought I got the wrong size and almost shipped it back lol. I thought it'd be something to covor the whole tank and what not, but not the progrip clear. But I like how it looks and it really fits the bike x-)

Got my ZX-2R Vinyls from modmy250.com today. They look great. Sorry for the picture, its from my phone. I was going to take some good pictures of the bike today but cant find the camera. x-(
ZX-2r vinyls: Here's my exhaust on my bike. Not the greatest pic, again. I will take a better one, and show the T1 tip and what not too. Hopefully tomorrow, if not then by monday. (This pic was taken before I put the zx-2r stickers on ) Tomorrow I'll be ordering a bike monkeys integrated taillight, and modmy250's flush mount turn signals and doide (sp?) kit. x-)

its not that bad honestly, just have to trim like 1" down the sides of it. the fit for me, was a little funky in the tail section meeting up with my seat cowl. but basically a few little tweaks here and there and it fits fine.. took about a hour from start to finish. but i also already had my fender chopped so that made it a little easier i guess. and yes stock taillight, the undertail just covers right over it and smokes it out. only issue with the whole thing is i already had front led turns, now with the rear all 4 are led, so im trying to figure out what resistor is needed to get my blinkers working correctly.

Most people I've been seeing are using a Tridon EP 34. Said it can be bought really from any auto parts place. So far all I have heard is good feed back about it.

Soooooooo I just want to give an update. I did take pics, but everytime I take pictures I do something new to the bike.
So far I have: Two Bros Exhaust Progrip tank pad Alarm system Tri's LED front flashers. Today I finally got my Bikemonkeys taillight in the mail. Going to install right now and hopefully be done before night time (I'm very challenged when it comes to working on the bike) Anyways, I will post pictures afterwards. I just wanted to let you know it looks so purdy. Lol

The mod bug not only takes money away from your wallet, but it takes useless memory up in your camera lol.
Im off to home depot to get a solder gun. Somehow, 2 hour projects always turn into all day things for me. :-\ But on the plus, Im getting the fairings off real quick now lol

If only you were in florida to help shim lol. I havnt shimmed yet.
It took 8 hours and 30 minutes, plus 3 trips to autozone (forgot money the first time, got bigger bolts the second, got bigger washers for the bigger bolts the third.) Lol. Heres a pic of the light. I'll get some full day time pictures tomorrow. I finished when it got dark. Like I said, mechanically challenged. As for what I think, I love the integrated blinkers and bikemonkeys tail light. I did tri's doide and it works like a charm. Everything is great. I do have an issue with one of the license plate lights turning off everyonce and a while for like 20 seconds, but its nothing Im too worried about. I didnt notice till I got the bike back together, and after 8 hours, I figured the bike was tired of being nude. Also, the license plate light isnt the brightest thing in the world. My letters pop out far in my license plate so the shadow is pretty bad. I doubt it'd be pull over worthy, but if it were, I'm sure it'd just be a fix it ticket. Anywho, the bike looks great over all. It needs a wash, so maybe tomorrow or next week when I find time. I plan on getting a seat cowl friday just to finish up the clean look I was going for. Then perhaps grips, levers, some probolts and a new windshield. I'm honestly thinking about getting some red rearsets from the Bikers, but im not sure if I have the patience to wait a month to get it. Waiting a week and a half for my taillight was painful. But I'll probably end up getting it after a while. I figure if I plan on having this bike for the longest time, I might as well pimp it up now, so there will be less to do later. So far, so good. :-)

Well I decided I'll just post up these older ones. The rear is completely chopped now. But its good to show progress.
I couldve sworn I took these after installing tri's flushmounts, but I guess not. Like I said, I'll get to it tomorrow. I will also be getting a cowl, maybe tomorrow, probably friday. I also want some opinions. I was going to get a red chain, but after looking at probolts it looks like I can get some red bolts for here (the bolt im pointing at) Just wondering what would you guys think of those bolts instead of red chain?
