CG... did you ever resolve the oil pressure issue? Have you had the chance to ride again?

This weekend I tested the oil pressure switch and it is faulty. I don't want to try to ride it until that is resolved. I am trying to find a way to get it to the dealership for repair. It should be under warranty, but I am afraid since I did all the work on the bike on my own, that the warranty is voided. I am hoping that this weekend, one of my friends (truck) will be available to help me take it to the dealership. This needs to get resolved ASAP though...it's not doing much sitting in the garage

Good to find out that it's only the switch and not an oil pump problem.

If the cost of the switch is not too bad, you may want to consider just replacing it on your own and not deal with the hassle of carting the bike down to the dealership and fighting over the warranty issue.

At any rate, it's great to hear you'll soon be back up and running with the buffed out bike. Again, congrats to you for the long, arduous journey you have taken to get to this level. Bike does look good!

Yeah I will have to figure out whether I can do it and avoid the dealership or just have them do it and give my bike a once over while I'm there...

Either way, I will be riding soon!

And thanks for the compliment!

Quick question, how'd you remove your Ninja stickers? Are you going to add an aftermarket pipe on that or respray your current one?

I whipped this up as an example but someone else used heat resistant flat black paint to paint their stock pipe, looked great!
Heres an example I thought you could do if you wanted just brain storming haha

As for stickers I'm thinking of just adding 1 or 2 alpinestars ones on mine, MAYBE the "icon" crest - still deciding

The two fairings were not originally CP blue, the left was black and the right was red. I bought them both used and slightly rashed. My paint guy then had the fun job of sanding and painting them. So the Ninja stickers came off in the sanding process I would assume. The blue on the fairings was custom matched to the tank since paint from color-rite was way to expensive.

Once I have some available "extra funds" (which never happens), I will probably get a CF Area P or Yosh can...I don't think I want to paint the stock one...

CG, just plain awesome job. If you want to break up the black, why not work your 'CaliGirl' graphic from your sig in there in plasma blue? Let me know, I can mock it up for you if you wanna see it first.

Be glad to hear that you're back on the road, that thing deserves to be ridden.

^^^^ That's a good idea (IMHO) dyeclan for her to add her 'CaliGirl' signature graphic on the bike. That would look hawt!!!!!!
