Looks like a streetfighter, not cafe.

Nice work!!!

Two questions. How did you do the tank? Did you cut off the faring mounts then just bondo over that. And bondo out the groove in the tank where the faring meets the tank.

And.. How do you like the clips-ons? I can't decided on lowered risers or clipons.

Thanks. As for the tank you nailed it. I cut off all the fairing mounts and sanded them down. Then I applied several layers of bondo until it was flush and then sanded it to the desired shape. I did that several months ago and it has held up with no issues so far.
I actually just installed those clipons the other day. I've only had one chance to ride it since. It will definitely take some getting used to. A more aggressive position. More bent over at an angle than the standard upright riding of the stock bars. No clearance issues while riding but tight tight turns could be an issue.

Sweet, it is good to know the bondo method works. I am planning to do that very soon. I am keeping the body panels behind the tank. And I am painting them and the tank white! I hope it all turns out well.

I am think of just getting lowered risers now. I like the standard riding position so I don't think I want to move to a too aggressive riding position.
