Talking 2010 SE Green Machine - Did I get a good deal?

Hey Folks,

Heart was set on 2010 SE Green Machine, so I finally landed one. Clean title, one owner w/2k miles and tags paid till 4/12. Never dropped, but no mods. Long story short picked her up for $3,200, which was whole lot less than the $3,900 asking price. Anyways, I'm a happy camper and just wanted to get some feedback - good or bad. And yes I've seen the dozens of bike ads for way less w/ton of mods. Unfortunately, they're all outside of CA. Unlucky for me.

Love the forum!

You got a very good deal. Just a few months ago, the CA mafia on this board was swearing up and down that there was no way a person could get a used new-gen in CA for under 4K. You went an snagged a 2010 for 3.2. Thats a good price in any part of the country.

Appreciate all the comments. I'm in the Bay Area and as you know bikes are marked-up in Cali and the good deals go fast. Already have a long wish list of mods to-do, including shimming, MGP bolt-on, double-bubble, fender eliminator, frame sliders, etc. so I'll be scouring for used parts.

Hope to keep everyone updated on my progress and thanks for the warm welcome and great ideas. I'll be here for the long haul.

BTW, for the Bay Area folks any local 250 meets? I've been a long time member of BARF when I had my gixxer, so definitely not new to the scene but it's been quite a few years.
