Sad day in F1. After all the news on who is going well, the race was a water fest ans someone got seriously hurt. Besides, Tiger Woods winning the race.

Hope that there is good news at some point for Bianchi. Was good to hear some of the changes that the FIA is pushing for only a week after the accident, and most of them seemed to make sense.

What happened to Vettel today in qualifying?

What is the speed trap?

I was in Carlisle, PA for the car show and didn't realize you lived there. I ate at the Market Cross Pub and was on TV while there talking about the show. Maybe I'll look you up next year if I get to go to the car show or some World of Outlaws races.

I'm not sure, maybe it is just one of the places where they pull the speed to display with laptimes or something.

I actually just moved to Carlisle this past summer, and coincidentally I ate at Market Cross for the first time last night haha. Next time you are up this way look me up and we can go grab a drink.

Anyone think Vettle can do to Ferrari what Hamilton did with Mercedes?

I like that there are teenagers in F1. It gives me hope.

It will be interesting to see. It will also be interesting to see what Bernie will do regarding the push for the return of the V8.

I missed the race today. The results were not to my liking. I hope next year will be better.

What time does Supercross start?

Rosberg displayed maturity and class, going into the green room after the race and congratulating Lewis. Lewis displayed maturity and class by publicly thanking Nico for that on the podium.

Sucks that a mechanical killed Nico's chances, though to be honest he lost the championship at the start of the race. He had to get a good launch from pole, and he didn't.

Hamilton deserved the championship. A driver who wins 10 races SHOULD be champion.

Kudos to Williams for the 2-3 finish. It would have been GREAT if Felipe had managed to get the win.

Ding-dong battle at Mercedes all season long... resurgence of Williams... Ricciardo proving that Vettel is not a superman.... those are all good things.

The big disappointment for me this year was Ferrari. Raikkonen seemed to be phoning it in, and Alonso just can't catch a break. He deserves to be in a great car and he hasn't been.

Relatively uneventful final race, but the outcome of the season certainly seemed appropriate. Hope that Honda can revitalize Mclaren next year, and also hope Ferrari can move closer to the front. Seasons where one team absolutely dominates due to technical superiority rather than driver quality are never going to be that memorable.

Didn't end the way I'd like to see it end, but the result is what I hoped for.

Hope for an exciting next year. Yes I am a LH fan, but even I didn't like seeing Mercedes run away with things. Though it was great to see Nico and Lewis go back and forth throughout the year. Both drivers showed great maturity as the year progressed, and what could have ended in tears on multiple occasions was great racing.

Hope to see JB on the grid again next year too, but it is looking less and less likely. I think we will soon hear Fred announced as a driver at McLaren. I also think Vettel will be a non-contender again next year with his switch to the prancing horses.
