My New Front Springs ...

My new front springs (RaceTech 0.70 kg/mm) totally kick ass. It's a simple mod and it only costs about $150 total. I followed the directons in this link:

Do you plan to install the valve emulators too?

Yeah, eventually. That's a little bigger project.

I had a chance to really check it out today. You guys GOTTA do this! The bike holds up under braking like you wouldn't believe. And, it's only $150! Work a few extra shifts down at the Sonic if you have to. Hell, if you live in Jax, FL I'll come over and help you out.

I just picked up tires, but this is on my "soon list" for sure. Is it necessary to stiffen the rear as well at the same time or can you leave that off for awhile? (canyon riding)

I put a new-gen shock on the rear. It's adjustable, and it seems a little stiffer.

Front springs are my next mod. My fork seals are starting to leak so I might as well change out the springs while I'm at it.

.70 Sonic springs was step #1 on the way to making my EX-250 into a bike I wanted to keep.

When I got the bike I was pretty dissapointed with how the suspension felt.

But the Sonic springs plus: gold valve emulators, fresh 15 weight fork oil, a Hagon rear shock, serviced the swingarm, lubed the Uni-link, shimmed the cush-drive and added Pirelli tires. Voila! a completely different experience.
