FS: Ninjette 250/300 Track bits...
Hi All,
I just put my street bikes back to stock for easy sale. As a result, I have some parts which would be nice upgrades for someone else. Items are in Seattle in case anyone is local, otherwise they can be shipped. Best to email me at spgtech at comcast dot net. Thanks for looking! Complete Suspension Number One: This consists of 250R forks with Andriani cartridge kits in them. Revalved for me to race on, reasonably stiff for a 180# rider. In the back is a modified GSXR shock; lower clevis widened, upper bushing relocated (to closely match OE length), and resprung/revalved by GP Suspension. $500/OBO Complete Suspension Number Two: Same as above, but set up for street/trackday use and a 140# rider. $500/OBO SOLD! One set of Woodcraft Clip Ons: Black bars, drilled for OE switch clusters, Clearance machined for the triple clamp bolt, so the bars can be swept back a little more. $100 SOLD! One Tyga full exhaust system: Oval Carbon can, stainless header with O2 sensor port. Includes a bracket to support the muffler if the passenger pegs are removed. $150 SOLD! One Tyga header: No muffler. $50 SOLD! Sato adjustable rearsets: Slightly scratched up, black in color, some rash on the end of one footpeg. Will need a pressure switch if a brake light is needed. $60 SOLD! Two rear wheels: Complete with brake rotor. $120 each. I also have a bunch of other bits, like complete lock sets for the bike, a spare left bar, cush drives and some master cylinders and clutch perches. Let me know if there is something you need and I may have it. -Sean Last futzed with by SPG; October 18th, 2016 at 01:21 PM. |

I'm interested in the suspension. Only difference between the two is the rider weight that they're sprung for?

Mostly correct. The valving on the forks of set number one have been adjusted from the Andriani baseline as well. But end result, yes, the same except for rider weight/intended use.

Ok set #2 would be good for a 145lb racer though right. Definitely a step up from springs/emulators
You say you've altered the length of the gsxr shock, do you use the stock dogbones with it?

Yes on the stock dogbones, but you will need to space them out about 6-8mm per side to clear the wider spring. Washers will work, I cut some from aluminum when I originally did it.
Also, the cartridges are externally adjustable for preload (ride height). Rebound and compression changes are done with the shim stack internally. Yes, certainly a step up from emulators. -Sean |
