Has anyone used tearoffs for street riding?

My favorite twisty road is thirty miles thru wooded country and farm land next to the Mississippi River.
So every ride covers my faceshield with all kinds of bugs. I purchased a shield with tearoff posts and a few packs of tearoffs ( they come 11 in a pack ) now i don't need to stop to clean bugs off every few minutes.
Here's a pic with them on my arai. And a pic of my curves on Route 79.

lol at the right time of year where i live, 20 minutes of riding equals a face covered in bugs. I have never used tear offs myself. sounds like an expensive solution.. but if its that bad you gotta do it.

Reminds me of our return trip form Estes Park through north-central Colorado last month. Enjoying the beautiful country side on some state roads and in the space of 10 miles hit three hatches of nice new juicy bugs.

My first thoughts were a) glad I'm not on the Ninja and b) wish I had a tear-off for the cage.

If I did a lot of country ridging with bugs I'd be looking at that option.
