Signed up for my first track day

Ridesmart track day at MSR-Houston on July 25th.

I paid $195 (incl: track day fee, leather rental and bike cam).

I should be getting a discount for free leather rental (which will drop the price $50) and 20% discount off of track day fee. So, about $133 for the entire day. Not bad.

I'll post up and let you all know how it goes!

Hopefully I'll have a camera following me, and post the video, so you all can make fun of my riding ability!

A word of advice, pull all the equiptment off your bike that you can. Its not a race, so ride within your limits and check your ego at the gate. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. Save your money youll wana go again and again and again.

You should come if you can. I'll be huddled up with a local club called "WFORiders". On track days they allow people who are interested in trying a track day do a parade lap. You just take it easy and you can ride around for free. Normally about 3 laps or so. So when you do get a bike (under you avatar it says you don't have one), you should head out!

Or you can just come down and watch for fun anyway. You can see at least 2/3 of the track from the grandstand.

I'll be tossing the bike on a trailer and getting a ride out there. My cooler will be in tow.

I will run it by my other half and see if she wants to go. I think it would be a blast and a good escape.
