ebay rear seat cowl color match??

Do they match with our bikes or are they just generic colors? I have sunbeam red and I know theres shade differences between years so I want to make sure whatever I'm getting matches. Or is it recommended I stick with OEM? And who's a reputable seller if I choose to get one? Sorry for the noob questions

I brought a second hand OEM one from a guy on eBay for cheaper than a new chinese one.

Agree on sticking with the OEM piece.

You can find them on eBay with a little patience and checking every day. There were lots of these bikes made, lots of people have bought these and lots have crashed their bikes. So dismanters have them fairly regularly.

The other good thing with buying one from a dismantler is they usually have all the hardware already on them.

I paid $40 for mine, with all hardware, in perfect condition.

A red cowl

i just bought one off ebay and the color turned out to be different. My ninja is a 2012 passion red but the cowl i got is of a different red. looks like a sunbeam red which is lighter and a little orange compared to the passion red
