For daily driving, you should at least get some basic black textile pants with some built in armor. I wear Joe Rockets. Inexpensive, easy to go on over regular pants, comfy all year (they come with a zip out liner, and a zip out panel for ventilation), and they have armor in the knees and hips.

I've crashed in a pair, and they held up very well even with a decent slide across asphalt.

Hey nice bike. I live in south vero. I am building a cafe out of my 94. Blew the motor a few months ago. Got another engine, not sure how it runs yet. I have some extra parts if there is anything you need. pretty much all the fairings, they arent in the best of shape but they are ok. Going in for some surgery in a couple days so wont be able to work on the bike for a while. I feel like I have seen a bike like your around or similar to it in Sebastian. Oh an the work you did on that helmet is awesome!

How did you do the hex pattern on the helmet? I want to do some Captain Falcon "triangles in the dark" eyes, perhaps with a clear visor and two types of tint (normal tint and mirror tint) so that no area has double-layered tint. Not sure where I could get sheets of mirror tint though. I also plan to get a helmet skin that gives me the false chin and gladiator helmet style on a full-face helmet.

Next up: I've had a difficult time finding yellow or gold boots and gauntlets. What tips do you have for painting/dying such things?

Forgot about this thread lol. Yea I sold the bike last week for $2000. The buyer was a huge halo fan and basically bought it for the paintwork.

I had all plans of going to Budz Chrome Nuts to buy a new bike when I made a wrong turn on a road call during work hours and found a glorious mouth watering 1970 Ford F 100 and slammed the money down after a thourogh rust check lol
