Thanks D.

I was thinking along the same lines as Jiggles. It has to cost less somehow to use carbs, or else they would already be EFI

Its more complicated than that. What they are actually looking at is whether they can sell MORE EFI bikes than carbed bikes. I don't believe that the Honda would be as popular if it had carbs. In fact, there are people on this forum that have ditched the Ninja and bought the Honda. I can't think of a good reason to downgrade other than having EFI.

Remind me what Kawasaki/any manufacturers prime target demographic is? Beginner riders? First time motorcycle buyers? And it's really not only beginner bikes... carb's are very old tech... and pretty well obsolete in a world of emissions regulations and people crazy about MPG and being green.

I prefer crutches...I got mad fast on those after breaking my ankle and running around high school, you can use a wheelchair.

We'll be setting land speed records w/o carbs or EFI.

Dude, didn't your surgeon tighten all your nuts and bolts before he closed you back up? You've got metal in there. You should be out playing football by now. Hope your Ninja is getting better too.

Its been almost 3 weeks. There is really no reason for you to still be on crutches or using a walker right now. Not with an implant. If you don't start walking regular pretty soon without being propped up, plan on having a stroke. You'll be the youngest guy in the nursing home.

BTW, did you ever figure out if the B!tch had insurance?

Yea I can probably put my full weight on a barely healed bone. I mean, doc said I can't put weight on it for 6 weeks but you seem to know what you are talking about.

I do leg exercises every day and I try to stretch out the muscle as far as I can before I pass out from pain. I'm gaining a little mobility in my leg everyday. I got a good work out today walkering around and wheel chairing it up, I'm going to be pretty sore tomorrow

Titanium implants are soaked in acid prior to being implanted. So the surface is oxidized prior to being implanted. This is true unless his doctor was cutting corners and used an unetched implant. The difference in healing between 3 weeks and 6 weeks is negligible. This is all assuming that they didn't use a screwed or glued implant.

Nevertheless, Jiggles can do whatever he wants. I really don't care.

I'd love to see EFI and still have it weigh around the same as a pre-gen. Although this might make it cost quite a bit more...
