KBC Helmet

Ya know, this just down right ticks me off!!! One spends good money on something to protect the brain and hemet comes unglued...literally. Sent an email to KBC in hopes they can do something for me. I ordered this helmet in march and only has less than 1500 miles on it. Shaking head...oy! No I'm not gonna go out just glue it back. If that part is faulty...you just don't know what else is too. Ok..just had to vent!!

KBC aren't at the top of the quality pile. But you do need to know what you want from them to resolve this. If they are just going to glue it back on under a repair, I wonder if it wouldn't be quicker to do it yourself rather than send it out, wait, and get it back. Perhaps they'd replace the helmet, but for something cosmetic like this I'm not sure I'd bet on that. Keep us updated...

I had an Arai helmet that had a similar flaw. My dealer took it in on trade at full purchase price after owning it for over a year and I used the trade money to buy another Arai. The dealer advised me that Arai was supporting the decision and I'm sure the dealer was re-reimbursed somehow by Arai.

My point is to try and go back to the retailer you purchased it from. Maybe they can help. GL!
