List of mods in the works for my bike:

1) Area P Standard SS Exhaust, with

2) Dynojet Rejet Kit

3) Woodcraft 36mm Universal Clip-ons

4) ElectroSport Digital Speedometer

Some others in the "Possible" category:

Love my Area-P, DynoJet kit, Woodcrafts, hope you enjoy too. Be very curious to see the digital speedo

The headlights are working well, better than expected. The low-quality bulbs that came in them didn't last more than a couple weeks, but once I replaced with standard Sylvania bulbs, they have been trouble-free. They are super bright.

Ya Snake, I posted there a while back with what I had done up to that point. I'll edit it when these bits are installed.

I did the wiring for my new gauge yesterday and hooked it up. Works well except for the directional wires I crossed. Now I have to figure out what setting to program the tach and It will be set. Does anyone know what type of ignition system the Ninja has; 1-pulse or 2-pulse? Or the engine rotations for each ignition cycle? I can;t seem to work it out for myself.

Well here are my new handguard/directional combo setup. You can see my Dynojet kit in the background too.

I can't wait for to git my clip-ons in so I can mount these up.

like I said, I need my clip-ons to arrive. Ordered from fatbikez and they don't seem to put much effort into customer service. Guess i should have just ordered through woodcraft directly.

Woohoo!

My bike is all together. Big thanks to Plasmatoast for working this project through with me. Here are some pics of the process:

My bike when I put it up for the winter.

My stock Left-hand exhaust.

And now it's gone, exposing my cut chainguard.

My new Area P exhaust

After the exhaust was on and adjusted properly, all attention went to rejetting the carbs. No pics were taken since neither Plasmatoast nor I had been in the carbs so deep before, and we didn't want to lose focus.

After the carbs were back on the bike, we moved onto the 36mm Woodcraft clip-ons and the new digital gauge and voila:

There is some finishing to do, a few wires to neaten up, but my Ninja is ready to ride, and ride I did last night. So cold; so worth it.

No problem. If you have pictures of your bike post 'em up. Maybe this thread can evolve into something cool

I'm looking forward to my carbs being tuned correctly. What size jet did you end up using?

I used the DJ98 in the Dynojet kit. I am not sure what size that translates

DJ98 = 0.98mm = Keihin/FP 100 = Mikuni 91.9
http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Dynojet...zes_conversion
http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showt...tting+database

Might consider posting your specs in the Jetting Database thread (second link) as well

Your ninja makes me think of the Headless Horseman. Maybe because it's got all the cowlings but the main/front one (I think) Like the look though.

Good thought on the database. Ya I like not having the fairing up front; it makes me focus on the road without having plastic in my peripheral vision.

Thanks. I'm going to be having a good mechanic fix my carbs for me this time, and wanted to make sure the jet kit did in fact have something that works.
