Summer Gear Recommendations

I'm looking for hot weather summer gear that will not compromise protection, but at the same time, give me enough air vents to keep me cool. Where I live and during the summer it easily reaches around 110 degrees. I currently have Rev'it Ignition 2 jacket and pants. Although this gear is great, it killed me in the summer and I didn't do much riding. I have a list of jackets I am looking at below, if you can think of anything better or more adequate please recommend them. I'm also looking for owners of any of these jackets and your experience with them. A cooling vest will also be purchased. Thanks!

I don't have the Airwave specifically, (maybe I should, Vegas being Vegas, but I'm about to head out so :P) but I ADORE my Rev'It gear so that'd be my recommendation.

Perforated leather won't work in these temperatures for me, unfortunately. I need a lot more airflow with major vents. Unless you can direct me to one that has all that?

Perf leather with vents? Seems kinda rare. I was thinking about the Dainese Racing Perforated Jacket or the Dainese Super Speed Perforated with their zipper front vents.

my dainese does fine up to about 105. but i can't take 105 without a jacket either. it has zippered vents front and back besides the perf

Ooo...which one is that? Not to threadjack from OP's wants but kinda in the OP's shoes as well (thinking about a summer "textile" but wants leather).

I have the airwave and I recommend it. Ony thing I don't like about it is how hard it is to remove and reinstall the upgraded back armor.

Well pulled the trigger and snagged a Dainese Racing Perforated Non-C2 in white (the all white one ) on clearance. Summer jacket - check.

On page 207 of Proficient Motorcycling David Hough states "Once air temperature climbs above 99 degrees Fahrenheit, you should keep your insulation on and the vents closed." "Mesh or ventilated riding jackets are a good answer for riding in hot climates, but only in temperatures below 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Once temperature climbs above body temperature, ventilation only allows more hot air to blow through, helping to heat up the skin and transfer more heat back to the core." He advocates using insulated outer garments in conjunction with evaporative cooling (like a cooling vest as mentioned in the original post) in extreme heat.

Just something to think about. I wanted to quote a knowledgeable source since I've never ridden in temperatures above my body temperature. I'm lucky enough to live in a mild climate. If it's 100 degrees out I'll just take the car for a few days until it cools back down to the usual mid 70s.
