MICHIGAN RIDE: Scorpions' East Side Ice Cream Ride! Sunday Sept. 9th, 2012! @ 11:00AM
Scorpion's East Side Ice Cream Ride! @ 11:00AM.
(WEATHER PERMITTING) When: Sunday, Sept. 9th, 2012 @ 11:00am...Rider's meeting @ 11:15am...kickstands up @ 11:25am Where: Meeting @ Valero gas station, 32 mile & Rochester Rd. @ Valero 20 Rochester Rd Leonard, MI 48367 Pace: Easy Crusin' (50-65MPH) Rules: Wear as much gear as you got, be fully fueled up before Kickstands up time! Please don't respond unless you're attending. Ride your own ride, no one gets left behind! Hi, this will be a easy going pace with a mixed assortment of curvy, scenic roads and of course a few long Straight boring ones too! - We will be going over the Ferry boat to Harsen's Island en-route to Dairy Queen, for some added sights! - The Ride will officially End @ Selfridge A.N.G. Base off M59/Jefferson, for those that wish to stick around after the Ice Cream stop, there will be an optional Group Photo-op with Lake St. Clair in the backdrop, Old Aircraft and Tanks! Ferry Boat Fee: $3.00 p/Motorcycle. Note: Returning back over is included in the Fee! So come on out and get your Cruise On!!! Last group ride, we had 17 bikes! We had to split the group up into 2 groups. 1 big group was a pita to keep together through the city and urban towns. Not to mention the varies rider skill differences and experiences. So we had the faster riders, leave first, take a slight different route than the slower group with 1st & 2nd year riders, lead by myself and a older guy on his R1 as sweeper! Its also great to have people using their X1 slim chatterboxes to communicate during the ride. We all arrived at lunch about the same time though. It worked out well! Hopefully Josh and Kyle will be able to make it out again for this ride! I was buggin them to let me ride their 250's. lol My one friend told me "You shouldnt have sold yours, lol" |

BUMP!!!
Tomorrow morning is coming up... So far, we got 7 bikes IN* Joshdeatherage on his Green SE 250R! Another Redline member on his BMWS1000R and his wifey on her Blue 250R! A guy on his Busa, an older guy who might be 2UP with his wife on Honda VRF1200, another Redline member possibly 2UP on either his GSXR600 or Vulcan 900 Cruiser!!!  Things are looking up. Hopefully the weather holds out!!! Anyone here that reads this Forum, with a 250 around the Metro Detroit area coming????
