ZG Double Bubble Installed

Got my DB from Zero Gravity today.. paid $49.99 on ebay for it instead of $89.99 from ZG direct. They have an ebay store called ZGOutlet that they use to sell the blemished windscreens. I couldn't find anything wrong with the one that I got to be honest.. My wife claimed that in the light at a specific angle she could see a tiny little spot on the inside.. well I couldn't and if its inside the screen who cares anyway..

Here are some shots and comparisons vs the stocker:

Stock from the front

DB from the front

Stock from the back

DB from the back

Stock from the side

DB from the side

Once I start riding again (been raining for the past week or so) I'll let you know if I feel any wind difference.. keep in mind I am 5'11" so Im thinking the wind will be pushed up towards my helmet or neck now... but who knows..

Yes.. easy to install... 6 screws into threaded posts that are mounted from the rear... I used pieces of cardboard stuffed behind them to hold them in.. then unscrewed the old, put the new one on, tightened teh screws a bit at a time from teh center out... done.. took maybe 10 minutes and that was with cleaning the screen and the fairing under it.

Now I'm wonderin if I should put a small "Ninja" script decal like the original one had.. or if I should leave it alone...

Is it just me, or does it give the bike a more 'evil' head-on look???

Hey that doesn't look as bad as i thought it would. I'm about your height so I'd definitely be interested to see how much the wind buffeting improves! Keep us updated!

I am not quiet that tall... But where does the wind hit you now? Does it hit you at all??

Looks, while somewhat important, I am more concerned with the wind. As it is the current stock screen hits me right in the chest. I would hate to have it go from chest to chin, ya know?

Sunny, I know we're talking apples to oranges, but as a point of comparison, at 5'3 the db on my new-gen brought the wind from my chest to visor-level - if I tuck in at all ther's no wind

The wind is at my helmet level now, and i think its much improved, before at 70+ I could use the wind to support my body it seemed

I'd love to see this with body-color around the second bubble. You know... like, a fairing extension of some kind so it doesn't visually clash with the headlight (same problem with OEM, actually).

OK, so I just *had* to see it and I have no photoshop nor skills if I did so here is my MSPAINT rendition of what I was thinking of along with a re-shaped headlight to go with it (Ninja 500 style).

Now it just needs to be rid of those God-awful mirrors. Other than bar-ends, got any ideas?

FWIW, I have an '08 but I'm really curious in also getting a pre-gen if I can get it to look nicer. Too bad I'd never be able to throw that Ducati 999 fairing on there like that other guy did... Ducati windscreen, headlight, etc. <3
