Iron Butt Barbados
So, we all know about the Iron Butt Rally, and I think some folks here (@Alex) have competed. They do a "Saddle Sore 1000" event that is 1000 miles riding in under 24 hours. But here in Barbados, I really don't get the chance, so I decided to do my own Iron Butt. Entire island is about 21 miles long by 14 miles wide, so it was pretty hard. To get 1000 miles on bad, potholed single track roads, I had to do 16 loops of the island. It was really tough to complete each loop in 1.5 hours as neededwhen speed limits here are so low (for good reason), so I really had to do an Isle of Man style ride - knee down cornering for the full 24 hours. Here is my 63 mile loop.

Sigh. April 1 is over, back to being dour and serious. This was my favorite of (too many) April 1 threads. Can you imagine doing an Iron Butt on a 21x11 island? Sometimes very frustrating to be motorcyclist in such a small place. While I can find some very nice, twisty 20-30 mile loops, doing the same ones over and over and over . . .

I searched all threads created by you on April 1 and later and didn't see this one until today. How'd I miss this?!
