Rear Tire Hugger

Has any found a tire hugger for pregen that mounts to the control arms without tape? I was hoping for one that would bolt down and not interfere with the chain guide. If any has found one, please post. If not, give me some time, I might come up with something.

1. no. There is nothing that is plug and play.

2. I have a cbr250 hugger on mine. It uses 1 ziptie on the right side, and uses the stock bolting positions on the left side. It required some surgery on the under-tail, and don't forget that my tail is raised about 2 inches, which gives me a lot more room. I also have a Muzzy exhaust, which means that I have one less can to worry about. It might get tricky to do a hugger without those modifications.

Check out my photo albums on my profile for more pictures of the install.

Was looking for something longer, 3/4 arc, no rain fling. Will be a year round ride.

Any ideas on molding the chain guard into it?

Mine does pretty well at keeping the rain fling off the shock/dogbones, but that's about it.

for something like that, you'll have to make it custom.

I was thinking about making one using a fender and the existing chain guard and glassing them together then riveting it in place. I dunno just a thought

Front fender fits a 100. Rear is a 130. Check to see if the rear fits in the fender.

You could also use a fender off a different bike.

Go for it, custom work is cool. Anything is possible with enough work.

unless you're prepared to cut away at the under plastics and you have a raised back/ stiffer shock I'd advise against it. This is what makes @choneofakind hugger mod work.

I had a lot of contact issues with the cbr250 hugger on my bike and I'm a pretty light guy, so it wasn't like the bike was making contact because of my weight.
