Since he's somewhat nearby, I borrowed Ninji from Noche for a couple days and finally got one that was ridable. Last few days have been winds 40mph+ with highs just above freezing.

Riding up there was very entertaining as the very twisty road up to Mountain Lake was still gravelled from our snow a week ago and there were occasional ice stripes on the corners from frozen runoff. Great ride though, found myself wishing for a better camera, a tripod and a fisheye lens.

Matt, thanks for making this happen. Kim, thanks for letting me steal 'em for a couple days from you & the young'n. Happy trails Ninji!

Yep I went out for a little bit and cruised my neck of the woods. Met a new friend on an R6, we're going out again in a few hours if you're free.

Ninji is ready to go tomorrow. He's spending one more night in the warmth of the house before popping in the mailbox for carrier pick-up tomorrow

I'm going to miss the little guy! We have a few more pics to get up but they have taken a back-seat to getting everything going for Christmas for my son

Glad I went out and took pictures yesterday. It snowed again all day today. I tried to think of a cool place in Abilene that I could take Ninji and this was it. It just finally opened and I think it's really awesome.

I am currently waiting on GreezMunkey to send him my way. He was traveling late last week so we failed to meet above. He should be returning home soon and then either ship him to me or we'll meet up somewhere, but not in this bloody cold front.
