Need help adjusting clutch cable
So I had a lowside, and in fixing my clutch lever it noticed when I have the bike on stands and put it in first gear with the clutch engaged the rear wheel would spin. I tried all types of adjusting on the clutch cable no dice. So I order a new cable. Install it, its better, when I put it in 1st gear the rear wheel spins, when I stop it with my hand, it stays stopped.
Is this how it should work? Am I just an idiot with the adjustments? I read the service manual, and there is the correct amount of slack. Thanks! according to this thread, this is normal? https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=90003 |
