Extra bolt with nyloc nut
Gang - Where does this go? Look familiar to anyone? I'm rebuilding this 1986 Ninja EX250E and I'm about 99% of the way done. It runs and it mostly works, but I've got this extra part (among others) and it's concerning. Thoughts?

Update: I'm convinced this was an extra bolt from the clutch handle assembly, which I partially replaced... unless there are alternate theories.

You're probably right, given its small size, and the fact that it's a shoulder bolt.

I would say that is a lever pivot bolt.

It's clearly a pivot bolt of some sort.
The kickstand has a similar one with a lock nut on the back, although I think it's shorter, and a bigger diameter than the one pictured. |

Definitely lever-pivot bolt. What's holding on your brake or clutch lever now?

I have a full replacement clutch lever assembly I bought ages ago... full swap at the same time as my rebuild, so I didn't realize this part would have been attached then. Thanks, all!
