Busy day yesterday

Yesterday I got up early and starting removing the plastic from my 2009. I peeled off the Plasti-dip from everything except the front fender. I then polished and waxed the plastics. When I first bought the bike I went ahead and stated gathering the maintenance items. Bike had just had oil changed when I bought it, but I have put little over 2500 miles on it so decided while it was apart to do the maintenance. I flushed and changed coolant using distilled water and refilled with pre-mixed. Changed air filter. Doing this gives me one to have cleaned so I can just swap them and not have to wait for one to dry. Changed oil and filter. I had a Hi-flo I had purchased before reading about them not being very good filters. The O rings were included and did fit though. I'll be sure and change it again at about 2500 miles. I used Rottella T6 for oil. It has considerably quietened the engine and improved shifting. Here is a pic of bike today. I'm taking a short break out of the rain

Plasti-dip seems to have the same allure that glitter does to 4 year olds.
