So I found this hose...
I searched and googled. This is the best picture I could find since I tried to re connect it already
So doing the undertail install on my bike a week ago (full exhaust and jet kit) this hose was just laying in engine bay Now I saw a big, possibly plastic , nipple facing up towards top of bike. It appears to be ontop of the motor. So I put the angled part of the hose back on it. Don't really know where the other end goes. Who knows how long it's been like this What does it do? Anything bad result from having this open to atmosphere? Guess I could tear apart the other bike, since it is 100% stock.... Thanks in advance

Check on top of your carb toward the front right in the middle, do you have a plastic tube facing strait up that wobbles forward and back slightly. If so that hose goes onto that tube bent side forward and the rear just vent back under the seat. As to what it does, well I'd like to know the same thing.

that looks like the overflow hose that comes from the top of the carb and it just hangs down towards the ground. Extra fuel that is in the carbs is pushed tho that hose goes out on the ground.

Does it have a plug in one end? If so, I'd say it's the airbox drain line (for excess crank case oil).

the picture you provided doesnt give enough detail to tell what hose it is. you need to know where it comes from to be able to tell where it goes. but just a guess it looks like the kleen air hose

I know. It's a vauge picture as i already tried to re install it. You are right. It's facing up by the carbs. I have the other end facing down with the overflow lines from the radiator. Thanks!
