I wonder how well it would work for Motorcycle Gear?

Sounds a bit like the Ooobleck we used to make with corn starch.

If it's half as good as they claim, this could be cool.

All my gear has D3O, including CE2 in my race suit. Great stuff. 2 race crashes in it, walked away from both. Softens up with body heat to the point you can truly forget it's there. Icon and Klim put it in their armor pockets stock. Buying at as replacement armor is a bit spendy, but a worthwhile upgrade IMO.

I've been using D3O since I started riding. It's fantastically comfortable. I recall reading the MSDS on it a while ago and it bragged that it could deform a TON and return to its normal shape without deforming an astounding number of times. It has much better shelf-life than most motorcycle armor.

My Icon field armor compression pants have it. I've worn them for my short practice sessions and they are super comfy under my regular jeans. Also found an Icon back protector that's ce level 2 that should fit my Firstgear jacket. put that on my wishlist.
