Is my chain shot?

I'll try and post some pics tomorrow but I was lubing my chain yesterday and noticed that a couple of o-rings were out of place, so to speak. It's like they were smooshed and oozed out. The sprockets look fine but the chain has me worried. It has 17k miles on it.

sean,

when it comes to the chain, follow a simple rule:

when in doubt.....REPLACE.

full drive replacement (steel sprockets, x-ring chain)

great service too
