Question X-Race clip ons

Hey everybody,

I just installed the x-race clip ons, and seem to have come across and have a question.

I took the stock bars off, and on went the x-race clip ons

but it seems they only bolt on to a little bit of the fork (maybe an inch) it doesnt come flush to the top with the clip ons...

should the front end be lowered a bit to raise the forks to come flush? it doesnt seem safe to me at all, the way it is right now....

also the clip ons arent completely flush where they sit on the triple clamp. not sure if I can fix this, or its just the way they are manufactured.

I need help!!!

here are some pics,

Thanks everyone,

Drop the forks to give you more clamping area. it should also reduce or eliminate the gap

If i could find where my daughter has put the digital camera I would take a pic of mine mounted under.

Yeah thats what I though,

No worries at all, I do appreciate your info!

I guess I'll have to drop the front end a bit to bring up the forks??

is that how it works???
