My school used them last year. It was such a huge PITA. I don't believe that they use them anymore, though, in case there was an emergency and someone had to use their phone. That's the last I heard at least, and I know they were considering making them illegal for safety reasons.

They are extremely illegal, and people busted with them will get federal time. BTW, there's no parole in the federal system. Fines are tens of thousands of dollars.

http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/jammer-enforcement

It's also illegal to even advertise these for sale in this country.

"File a Complaint

If you are aware that someone is operating, selling, leasing, advertising for sale, shipping, distributing, and/or importing jammers, you can file a complaint at: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints."

Are you retarded? You don't have the "freedom" to interrupt people's phone service. What if someone needs to make an emergency call?

Maybe if you weren't trying to get us involved with something that is a federal offense we wouldn't be so hard on you. Please take the time to educate yourself on matters at least a little bit before posting something and you won't get "ragged". I mean come on man, why did you think they weren't freely available online?
