Race Takeoff Tires For Sale
I have a new round of takeoffs from my rental bikes. These tires show wear on the right side, with very little left side wear and pretty much new in the middle. They may arrive to you looking pretty gnarly, with gummed up rubber stuck to the tire. This happens when exiting the track. Once you hit 70mph or so, all this rubber will fly off and you'll have new looking tires. These are cheap tires great for highway commuting. Plus, they look pretty wicked on the edges, so your friends will be impressed
PM me for my PayPal address. Note: I will not break up pairs. Sold in pairs only. Here's what I have: 1 set BT016 150/60 rear + 110/70 front $90 plus shipping 1 set BT003RS 140/70 rear + 110/70 front $90 plus shipping 1 BT016 150/60 rear $45 plus shipping 1 Michelin Power One Race 150/60 rear ($190 new) $70 plus shipping (not recommended for street. Would make a great track day tire. Most of right side is down to wear marks, but plenty of life left in this tire if you are a new or intermediate track day rider) For larger bikes: 1 set BT003RS 160/60 rear + 120/70 front $120 plus shipping PM me with any questions. Thanks Last futzed with by RaceBikeRentals; April 14th, 2010 at 08:44 AM. |

Rob,
Sorry, I can't. It involves a special trip to the PO and an hour wait in line. I just don't have time these days. Sorry. |

Contemplating asking my father in law if I can use his US address (he goes and picks up every 2 weeks) for the bt016, just that he usually charges me $20......a-hole. I'll let you know if I suck up my pride

I'll send him an email and make sure that tires are ok. He says that it is what it costs him (even though he ships and receives stuff there, so it's not like it is a special trip). I married his only child so I'm not sure if he likes me or my bike less....oh ya and he's a retired cop too so maybe its the combination of the 2

How many miles are on the BT090 rear?
Is there enough for a trackday on it? |

PLENTY of miles left on the tire. Probably good for 4-5 trackdays if not more.

My tire is in town. If I should happen to get it before you have a chance to post pics, I'll toss one up. Father in law is whining about it not looking good (gave up trying to explain slag to him)

Don't hesitate to buy from Richard. I bought a set of factory take-off GT-501s from him last year. He shipped them fast, and they were just what he said (with the stuck on rubber and all )

Here's a pic of a rear BT090. This is the right side of the tire, which is the most worn. This is very typical of the wear when I change out the tires.

Hey richard, I may have interest in your bt016's but I'm going to try to verify if the 150/60 will fit my 3" rear and not buckle the sidewall. I know this is my first post here but I'm just interested in tires for now. you can check me out on www.vtr250.com, my sn there is the same as here.
I've seen 140's fit our bikes but barely and I wonder if the 150/60 will. just pm me either way. Thanks for putting up great priced tires take care edit>> you're racing these on the 08+ ninja 250's correct? As I'd need the bt016 for a 17" rim. just checking, thanks |

Walth - Yes, we're running the BT016 150 rears on 08 Ninja 250s. They have a 3" rim.

Would the 150 BT-003's fit on my 09 with the 3" without any rubbing?
would you also be available for a local pickup? (area code on the site looks to be south OC) |
