!@#$ That Makes You Go WHAT THE @#$%!?!?

On my way to physical therapy today I was in my car on a 2 lane road. There's cars in front of me but no one behind me. There is also a car next to me who is slightly farther back in the lane than I am. He accelerates and squeezes in between the car in front of me and myself. I was following at like 1.5 car lengths so it was a small spot to squeeze into. He then proceeds to slow down to make a turn. DUDE WTF!? WHY WOULD YOU GO IN FRONT OF ME INSTEAD OF BEHIND ME YOU JACKASS

!@#$!!

@Jiggles, $h7t like that happens all the time to me here. Drivers in GA or freakin crazy!!! I had a lady rear-end me the day before christmas eve last year while i was stopped in traffic at a stop light and her explanation was somebody was about to cut into her lane and sideswipe her beat up early 90's Toyota Tercel so she "had no choice but to hit the gas and rear end me on my bike"
Worked out great for me though, claimed damage from an earlier drop when i was going through a small intersection on the way home from school and had a green light (not a just turned green light, but one that had been green the entire time I saw it) and just happened to look to my left to see a Excursion come flying thru the intersection and ran the red light. I managed to brake and kinda went up on the curb to my right and scraped it up on the right side from the curb and laid it in the grass. There were witnesses and the police were called but nothing ever came of it. All in all, i got about $1300 for the damage done to my bike when in reality all she did was hit my rear tire and cracked the reflector off the bottom of that ugly rear fender and then an additional $1500 personal injury settlement because my ankle had a pretty bad sprain and was swelled for almost a week because my foot was planted when she hit me. They paid all the medical bills seperately so that $1500 check was made out to me. I'm just glad it wasnt serious and I can say I actually benefited from it.

repeatedly get messed up at left turns...
i start making left turn across six lane road on a green light.

cager runs red light and right turns towards me.
forcing me to pull hard into the left.

and also the same thing that happened to jiggles.
except it happens on the freeway.

why the hell would a cager cut off a motorcycle in the fast lane going 80
just to slow down to 65 after into the lane.

People are stupid... I was driving home from work in my truck on a 40 mph, 3 lane road. There's a lot of traffic at this time, but traffic is flowing steadily. I am in the right hand lane as I'm getting ready to make a right at the next intersection. A car on a smaller side street on my right is stopped and waiting to turn right on to the 3 lane road I am on. Instead of waiting for a break in traffic, the car decides to roll out and block my lane and wait to merge into the lane to my left. I have to brake fairly hard, because of this to avoid hitting them and in my head I'm just like "Seriously?! WTF are you doing?! *%^$!head" While waiting for them to get out of the way I edged as close to them as I possibly could and honked a few times. Maybe not the smartest thing to do as I could have incurred the drivers possible gun wielding road rage, however I was mad so . Anyway, like I said, people are stupid. If I had been an inattentive, texting cager and not noticed them I would have t-boned the car's driver side door at 45 mph. In my opinion, being seriously injured or killed isn't worth doing something stupid to get a few seconds ahead in traffic.

That makes me so mad when Im in the Evo. I maintain my speed when I take turns so its annoying when someone speeds up to pass you just to slow down on the turn. Ive learned now to block said people, unless you put your blinker way ahead of time you are not getting in

My Ninjette has lost its center stand spring when tooling down the road, then the side stand spring while raising it to take off for a ride. I've no stand whatsoever on my bike right now, been too lazy to borrow a spring puller. It's obnoxious.

Agreed! Sorry civic/mom in mini-van you're NOT cutting in front of me in the mustang. I always ride in the powerband in 2nd just to block those ****ers from cutting in at the last minute.

I cut off people but I'm always going faster. Or split but I have no effect on others driving. Like one lady stoppe her car on a sign that was a merge sign. Not yield. Not stop but a ****ing merge.

Saw a gerry couple turn on to an offramp. Nearly killed the person who was on the offramp. If the person didn't swerve into the ditch they would've been toast.

A few days ago I get on my bike after school to find the bike had been knocked over and picked back up. Broke my turn signal, a few scratches (already scratched beyond belief) , and somehow managed to break or at least knock the screw out of frame that mounts the engine to the frame. Then, when I'm exiting the parking lot all of a sudden the bike front just drops and drags on the ground, breaking my fender and disconnecting the thermostat tube, spraying coolant everywhere. Three hours later a tow truck gets here, I get the bike home.. and the next day I found out i park in the blind spot of the cameras. Nice.

Exactly. Our drivers around here seem to be of higher quality after reading your guy's dealings with them. I don't deal with stupid **** on the road that often. Losing my kick stand and having to find a place to lean my bike every time I park it makes me go WTF . Otherwise everything is pretty trouble free.

i actually think its a good idea to slow down for tunnels, more specifically towards the end. When you exit the tunnel a lot of times its so bright your eyes don't adjust fast enough to see what's outside. There's a clip on youtube of some guy in a Viper who was driving fast only to find out everyone was stopped outside the tunnel and he plowed into a van.

but anyways, fortunately no incidents on my bike so far, but in my car I had a lady decide she didn't want to slow in her lane for cars stopping ahead and decided to blindly move quickly into my lane (i was right next to her). I had to slam on my brakes to avoid getting hit, screeching tires, and I STILL think she was oblivious to the fact she nearly hit me. I was livid!!

This is not as bad as some of yours but lately NO...ONE...WILL...GO...THE...F******...SPEED...LIMIT!!!!! Its been like 4 months of EVERYONE going slow. Its driving me crazy. Its weird but people here in northern Michigan go faster in the winter when there's ice and 5 feet of snow than they do when its above freezing.

ROFLMAO!

This drives me bonkers...seriously...its a on-ramp, not a road with a yield/stop sign. What gets me is they never realize that if you match the speed of the traffic on the interstate, you will fit right in like the teeth on two gears meshing together.

Last week. 4 lanes of traffic. In the city. Signal. Red light. Biker in front of a car. I was behind said car (in my own car). Light turns green. 5 seconds go by. Still stopped. 10 seconds. Stopped. Biker starts playfully accelerating at a slow pace. 3 other lanes are traveling at 40 MPH at this point. I am stuck behind this biker in the second middle lane along with the line of 50 cars behind me.

He then guns it full force when he sees me whip around the car that was behind him. I floor it and chase him away. That's right bro, my 108 HP can do some serious damage to that cruiser.

No wonder cagers hate us bikers. Because there are douches like that who think they own the road.

The crazy thing is that everyone thinks they're a good driver.

George Carlin said something like:
We think anyone driving slower than us is a dimwitted moron,
and everyone driving faster than we are is a crazy lunatic!

I beat that just yesterday. I was coming off one major highway onto another on an exit that lets you maintain a lot of speed before you MERGE onto the next highway. I get to the end of the exit where the MERGE and YIELD signs are and some asshat in a Volvo is STOPPED DEAD because they're too stupid or scared to MERGE. Rather than plow into the back of him (which was what I REALLY wanted to do) I skirted around them because there was NO oncoming traffic anyway! What was this idiot thinking? I hope the next guy down the exit was a freakin' semi at speed.
I get into town and now there's some moron stopped 10' from a stop sign in the middle of the road. I wait a second and realize the idiot is TEXTING and didn't notice that the car in front of him had moved on long ago. So I beep my horn and what does this guy do? He becomes so intent at flipping me the bird for beeping at him while he hits the gas pedal that he almost runs over a pedestrian in the crosswalk in front of him! The pedestrian literally had to JUMP out of the way to save himself.
What the $#%$@ is wrong with people lately? I may have to start using public transportation just to try and stay alive.

Pittsburghers take it to extremes. The infamous Green Tree Hill for the Parkway West only backs up because people literally STOP for the tunnel, then drive through at like 60 miles an hour. Of course as soon as you hit the tunnel there is no traffic inside it or outside.

Also, trust me. You can see what's coming outside of the tunnel. As long as you're paying attention to what's in front of you it's like looking out a window when you're inside.

Also, why are people incapable of pulling away from stop lights? I can get up to 35 before some people have even started to pull out.
