Looking for a few stock parts used
So figured I would check with you guys who might have taken some stock parts off for aftermarket parts before I go buying them new.
I am looking for a clutch lever, left mirror, left front/rear turn signals, stock windscreen, and shifter. Anyone who put on pazzo levers, aftermarket mirrors, flushmounts, or complete rear sets looking to get rid of their stock parts? :-) Let me know, Jeff |

Went down huh..? Me too atleast it was the left side.
though a right side would have given a reason for a new pipe I'm looking for some of these parts too. Rember if you decide to go OEM with the fairing that you have to order the foam exhaust sheilds too. I'm not positive if the old ones can easily be removed. I'll let you know I ya want. Good Luck. And If you find any green Left lowers send me a pm plz

Hey jeff. check with richard from race bike rentals. He should have atleast a couple things from your list.
Theres only bs on ebay as far as fairings go. I think im gonna order an oem tom. Cause I gotta get this moving. Its been like two months. I could just buy a blinker and be on the road but I have to make it proper. I took the fairing off this morning. I looked at the padding real quick but I didnt spend any time on it yet cause i had to go to sleep. Good news is theres only one on the left. Im going back out later to work on this. I'll post back to let ya know how easily it comes off. stupid stand. Do you have aftermarket pegs?

Yeah I thought the oem pegs touched first thats why I asked. just making sure. I just picked up new pegs so I'll have to watch for this. That or maybe just remove the stinking stand and hire a lil'person to hold my bike up. The only problem with that is I would have to remove my cowl to put the pass. seat back on.

As for putting the old heat shield foam from one fairing to another...I was able to do it. You just peel it off the old and I Gorilla Glued it to the new one using various weights and clamps to hold it on till it dried. Also...new OEM ones dont come with teh ninja sticker ...or at least mine didn't when I bought it about 7 months ago.

Yeah it comes off fairly easy. I have a can of 3M 77 glue but thinks Im gonna put the new one on with velcro to save a couple of bucks if it happens again.
