nice bike. would have loved to have gotten that bike, but it won't fit into my lifestyle.
hey, curious, what is that middle headlight for? i have seen it on with the low beams. |

It's really equivilant to your cars parking lamps.
when you first stick the key in to on that light turns on and the low beam doesn't. the low beam only turns on when the engine is started this helps conserve power. When you are wheeling the bike in and out or just moving it. The middle or "third light" lights the path in which you can move your bike. It doesn't shoot very far like your regular low beam because it assumes you are pushing it. Also in the night if your battery dies and your bike is in the middle of the road it can turn on just so other motorists are aware there is a vehicle there. and what do you really mean it doesnt fit your lifestyle? |

thanks for the explanation. makes sense.
my wife is unable to even ride on the back of my 250 because of her bad knees. the cbr's passenger riding position is even worse. i sold the 250 and i got a honda vfr800 on the way. should be here within 2 weeks. it has a much more comfortable riding position. anyways, enjoy!!! beautiful bike! |

On my zx-6r, It's a clearance light with the headlight and parking light you can leave on with the tail light at night when you leave the bike in a dark parking space for a few minutes. Keeps it from getting hit as easily

nice bike. I've heard that the r6 has problem with 2nd gear from 99-05. don't know about the newer one though.

Newer one is eliminated. the 06 had some air filter box recall where screws would fall into the engine but 07 is solid!

I can't fit on those new R6 models (seat height wise) but I do miss the acceleration of my R6S sometimes, still love the small displacement sport-bikes though.

Real nice bike.............looks like it suffers from the same affliction my newly acquired bike had. I found a quick cure for it though.
However a new set of Sport Attacks did actually work out a tad better than the quick fix. Keep the shiny side up Good Luck Rich |

How is the riding position on your F4i? Is it comfortable? Compared to teh 250 you had and to the R6?

The f4i has a very neutral riding position a little more tilted forward compared to the 250 but the handle bars are a little lower so you are a little more leaned forward the R6 is the standard tripod position when i first got on it very aggressive feels like your torso and your arms make a triangle. you are lunged forward. After riding it for a week or two i got used to it and it was easier to ride because i was used to it. You should try it out yourself. After you get used to it its not so bad |
