Track day where's the best track?

I am looking to take the 250 to the track sometime this spring. I live in Houston TX. I have been to Texas World Speedway a few times on my R6 but would really like someplace without the long straight sections. Also riding with RideSmart tends to get old. Most guys running are on 600's or 750's. I prefer not to get run over down the straights too. I routinely hit 150mph on the banked section and in the back straight I could get 100mph easily. Even at those speeds some poeple were passing me only to jam up on the brakes for turn 1 or at IIRC it was turn 5 or 6 in the back.

Does anyone ever host a event for just the smaller displacment machines say 125-500cc? I would like to ride MSR Houston or Cresson. Since I haven't been to either. Any suggestions?

I was thinking Cresson too.

I am too far from New Orleans. That's a 6 hour drive LOL.

There are 2 tracks in Houston. MSRH, in angleton (288 south). And Grandsport Speedway (gss) down 45 south. Gss is fun n small displacement bikes. whoever said cresson, that's one of my faves
