Good for her! I really enjoyed that video, I can't imagine going 120mph down the road...and with a passenger is just outrageous. She slid the length of almost 2 football fields...that's crazy but its always nice to see stories of people like her, I bet she shows the scars when she teaches her msf classes; if that doesn't put atgatt in perspective then idk what will.

Brittany Morrow is dubbed the "Road Rash Queen" after her story came out many years ago. She's been promoting gear ever since (also a spokeswoman for Icon) and has a great attitude for someone who lost a majority of her skin. Just a warning, the website contains graphic images of her injuries.

I've seen her on another website. She has an amazing positive attitude!

I was at a party recently and a guy there was talking about his niece who fell off her boyfriend's bike. She got road rash bad on one leg and her butt.

But, what surprised me was the guy took it lightly saying the boy was not going that fast when she fell. Good thing! But, if she had the proper gear she probably wouldn't have gotten road rash at all.

I don't know... I guess it just bothered me, because if it were my niece, I'd make sure she wore ATGATT.

Her story is one of the reasons I ride completely ATGATT every time.

Great video.

Been split on whether or not I should get motorcycle jeans or not. This defenantly helped make my mind up. <-- Im gettin them. Great video. A shame she had to go through that. They should show this video to alot of bikers though. It'll defenantly influence someone who wasnt willing to go full gear.

Great Video. Glad I didn't end up like this! Couple years back I got a quick ride on an 08 r6, all I was wearing was the guy's helmet, t-shirt and shorts. When he accelerated onto the highway ramp, I was already thinking "Oh god if we fall he's dead, and I might as well too from road rash"... Once we were going 120 though i was all I still have to invest in some leg protection. Anyone know how those Knox knee/shin guards are?

LEATHER, LEATHER, LEATHER. No jeans, LEATHER. This weekend I laid down my FZ at the track. I walked away without a scratch. Thanks to my leathers. Thats the 2nd time I have slid acrost the track on the same side of my leathers. They hold up to the punishment better than any other product and are at the ready for # 3 if and WHEN it happens. If you like the look of this young ladies scars the by all means wear armored jeans. My advice. LEATHER. I dont care if its 1000 degrees out. Take your cage if its too hot.
Dont skimp on the gear. The price you pay will last a LIFETIME.

BTW good vid, brought a tear to my eye as she reminds me of my daughter.

I absolutely agree on the "armored" jeans part. Selling them as "safety" gear is a joke. But...there are some SELECT synthetics which offer comparable protection to leathers. The Motoport Kevlar suit is fully FIM, WERA and AMA approved and has been fully vetted on the asphalt. There is also the new SuperFabric which is even more abrasion resistant than even the best race leather but nobody has made a full suit with it...yet...

You won't save any money going with these options...they aren't designed to be economical. But there are some advantages in weight and ventilation and longevity due to the stability of the material. I've had leathers and crashed hard in them and they do offer supurb protection...but modern technology is quickly catching up to Sirloin Skin.
