I'm not sure what a pressure tester will get you. Are you trying to test your coolant pressure? Its not going to go above what the radiator cap is set for.

Since you changed a bunch of stuff when you were searching for your overheating problem, I would start by looking at that stuff first. Didn't you change the radiator cap? Did you reconnect the radiator overflow tube to the tank?

Testing what part of my cooling system is not holding pressure because of a leak.

Already looked everything over.

That's a pretty significant differential. A 10-15 psi might be OK, but that's a lot. Can you do a leakdown test and compare those results?

Was that with a new set of pistons and rings you bought on ebay? How many miles on the donor bike?

A leakdown test wouldn't be a bad idea. Yes, and 14k miles.

Started a leakdown test until once again my hose gets stuck inside the cylinder head. It spins now but is not de threading so I'm guessing it is spinning inside it's own connector.

I got a tight airseal for cyl 1 at tdc before the hose stuck in there. GRRRR

Time to throw that hose away. Didn't you say it got stuck before?

I'm not sure what to tell you as far as getting it out. Was the engine hot or cold when you put it in there?

Cold engine. This was a different hose. The other one is for the compression tester and has a different size fitting.

Whatever the case that engine is now out and on my workbench for me to butcher up.

I'm not sure what they were thinking putting a swivel on the end like that. Any way to get a long pair of needle nose pliers in there?

Doubtful. I'll figure something out. I've gotta figure out why this engine doesn't like compression in the meantime.
