How many miles did you ride today?

Logged 30.6 mi on the ninjette today, I like logging mileage just to keep tabs on my fuel economy. Does anyone else do that?

Bought NEW 300 on Thursday with 0 miles and put 30 miles on it that day - around 170 on Friday - around 170 Saturday and about 30 Sunday....time for my first service already!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I like to keep up with miles as well so I can figure out my MPG...as I figured it with two tanks of gas, I am getting around 55mpg. Not bad for mountain riding.

I let the number two son take the GSXR out last night. He came home and said he rode with his buddy down Main Street, out to Destination Daytona and then over around the track.

This morning I noticed front fork seal leaking. Can you say wheelies!

I hate kids!

Yup. There's about a 2 mile road that goes up a scenic pass, but other than that, there I nothing in the area remotely close. I am headed to SC for recruiting school, If i can get away for a weekend, I will head up to deal's gap and take a trip on the dragon. It's about a 300 mile ride up and 300 back.

Done it many times. Next time will be in October. It's no big thing (it's huge).

Greg and I (alongs with some other Island people) watched the SuperSport and Superbike bike race. It's on TV at 6 Eastern Daylight Savings Time.

~105 today and while that isn't really that far, I did notice something and maybe anyone that has done an iron butt on the 250/300 can answer something for me. How do I keep the boys from getting crushed? I stay off the tank but they still feel like they're getting slowly crushed and doing a re-position didn't help.

I smell what you are pooping out. Suspenders or a one piece will keep things in place.

Wow, if that was me going out, i'd probably take a rest day before riding Deal's Gap then take another rest day before riding back. Hope it works out for you man, and be safe.
